3 RULES TO KNOW
Learning the Finnish Language
1. FINNISH HAS NO ARITCLES
You know the articles in English: "a, the, an." Yeah, in Finnish, these don't exist!
2. NO GRAMMATICAL GENDERS
There are no feminine, masculine, or neuter words. No "he, she, or it," the word for the third-person is "hän" in Finnish.
3. NO PREPOSITIONS
Finnish doesn't have prepositions like "in, to, from, on." Instead, Finnish words have different suffixes added to the end of the noun like "-lle, -lla, -sta"
